TAMF opens Onigokko tag class on Monday evening at the Ishinomaki’s largest temporary housing town. One year ago, at an Onigokko tag event, I witnessed several kids changed in an hour brilliantly. Those kids didn’t seem sports-oriented. They just sat on the gym floor and enjoyed exchanging cards before the event. They were rather chubby. But as soon as the event started, everyone got so excited and enjoyed the athletic activity dripping with sweats. Full of smiles. Fun.

We hope this Onigokko tag class give those children an good opportunity to release their energy rather than having nothing special to do during summer vacation in their temporary houses.
