自衛隊演奏会を石巻の子どもたちが観賞
自衛隊演奏会を石巻の子どもたちが観賞 ２月２７日（土）の午後、仙台市にある東京エレクトロンホール宮城で開かれた陸上自衛隊東北方面音楽隊の第５２回定期演奏会に、石巻ジュニアジャズオーケストラの子どもたちら約３０人が招待され、力強く華麗な演奏を楽しみました。テイラー・アンダーソン記念基金が仲介役になったもので、当基金の高成田享専務理事も参加しました。演奏後、子どもたちは舞台にあがり、指揮者の志賀亨２等陸佐に花束を贈呈、音楽隊の隊員たちと記念写真を撮りました。 Ishinomaki Junior Jazz Orchestra children were invited to the Self Defense Force music concert in Sendai. Thank you for the great and enthusiastic music.

The 1st Sports Onigokko tag Taylor Anderson Cup was held in Oshika Peninsula with kids from Ishinomaki and Fukushima. 28 kids from Haramachi elementary in Minami Soma, Fukushima now live separately due to the nuclear power plant radiation accidents. They enjoyed uniting together in clean air Oshika, which is the closest to the 2011 earthquake epicenter. I

I The cul was held at Ohara elementary which has only 21 students in total from the 1st to 6th grade. Some kids lost their families including a mother because of tsunami. Those hardship experienced children enjoyed playing onigokko tag as a same team with three English teachers in Ishinomaki like Taylor! The winners ...
