Taylor Anderson Cobaltore女川(コバルトーレ女川) soccer class was held at the turf field in Onagawa. Many daycares in Ishinomaki/Onagawa area have only women and rather old teachers. Young men soccer instructors can enjoy running together for an hour with those genki kids.

It was a pleasure to have them at RMC, hear their research reports and to hear how much their English improved in ten days! Congratulations to both the RMC and ISU participants on the results of their hard work. Two of the best results are new friends and life long memories.
続きを読むTaylor Award at a speech contest in Ishinomaki. 39 Junior high school students from Ishinomaki/Higashi-Matsushima/Onagawa made wonderful speeches. Someone talked their disaster experience, while someone explained the value of challenges. Manaka won the title and got the wooden Taylor trophy made by our carpenter Endo-san. Top 5 students participate the next stage, the Miyagi prefecture-level contest. Most ALT/JET teachers in this region came to the venue to cheer up their students, which remind me of Taylor. At least 3 champions were Taylor’s students.
続きを読むKokoro Smile Project held a shopping game of make-believe at Kazuma elementary school in Ishinomaki. 1st graders visit a challenged kids’ class to buy their snacks for their upcoming field picnic. They were given 300 yen each. Kids enthusiastically calculated how much they still had. So adorable.!
