The 1st Sports Onigokko tag Taylor Anderson Cup was held in Oshika Peninsula with kids from Ishinomaki and Fukushima. 28 kids from Haramachi elementary in Minami Soma, Fukushima now live separately due to the nuclear power plant radiation accidents. They enjoyed uniting together in clean air Oshika, which is the closest to the 2011 earthquake epicenter. I
The cul was held at Ohara elementary which has only 21 students in total from the 1st to 6th grade. Some kids lost their families including a mother because of tsunami. Those hardship experienced children enjoyed playing onigokko tag as a same team with three English teachers in Ishinomaki like Taylor! The winners got tsunami straps made by Endo-san instead of big trophy.
