The BigUp Isinomaki which TAMF supports held the 2nd Kid’s dinner event. Some children are lonely in the evening at home. They enjoyed cooking Okonomiyaki and playing outside with volunteers from Ishinomaki Sensu University.

Thank you to the Washington DC Japanese Heritage “Keisho” Center for supporting TAMF with a donation plus books for the Taylor bunkos. It was an honor to meet these families and share Taylor Anderson’s story with them. Keisho serves over 100 students with a dedicated staff every Saturday morning where they learn Japanese language and culture. They also watched “Live Your Dream: The Taylor Anderson Story”.

Maguro tuna cooking show in Ishinomaki. We started today’s event by offering a prayer for another great Earthquake victims, in Kumamoto, which occurred last week. Many people made donations. It was delicious and fun.
